Enthuastic and experience Tutor

I am in my penultimate year completing my Bsc Accounting degree. I have delivered 600+ hours of online tutoring in the past, pertaining to GCSE and A level students during exam seasons. I appreciate the aspects of virtual reality and the advancements of technological change that online lessons bring. My time tutoring perfected my interpersonal skills, such as time management and organisational skills and made me appreciate those qualities of mine to a greater extent. I have become a better problem solver, thinking of innovative solutions on how to make my lessons more enjoyable and suitable for each student I am assigned to.

Some of my main responsibilities for this job are to provide high quality lessons, be highly time managed and be an innovative and quick thinker. This job is constantly changing and evolving, with students of all backgrounds and learning abilities I need to be flexible with my schedule and forecast beforehand how to keep up the standard of work. I always ensure that the quality of work produced is up to standard and I keep track of my progress through the grades of the students and how well they are doing.
I find it particularly rewarding helping GCSE students who are predicted 3/4s to get 7/8s and allow them to see the potential in themselves. I always challenge my students to read beyond their predicted grades and having someone truly believe in them boosts their confidence levels to perform just as well.

My teaching style is flexible and ranges from student to student. I understand that every student's needs are different and may need extra attention or care with their studies. I regularly set assessments to keep track of students work progress which gives me an insight as to whether they are pushing themselves hard enough. I make sure to always recap the previous lesson, I believe that it is essential to ensure that knowledge is stored after a lesson instead of forgetting about content.
