Advert description
As a language teacher with over a decade of experience, I have developed a strong set of skills and knowledge that enable me to deliver effective language education to my students. At the Pontificia Bolivariana University (UPB), I have been teaching English and French to students from different programs since January 2017. My responsibilities include preparing lesson plans for respective courses, executing the French conversation club, and ensuring a positive and engaging learning environment.
In addition to my work at UPB, I also worked as an online Spanish teacher for Verbling from May 2018 to March 2020. I created content for my personal blog on my profile, which allowed me to share my passion for teaching with a broader audience.
At CESDE, I taught English to students from different careers and French to the gastronomy program. I was also an English teacher at Lexicom, where I taught in companies and higher education institutions like ISAGEN and CESDE. During my time at Blendex Language Center, I served as a teacher in both the French and English language areas, coordinated the French language conversation club, and wrote interactive blog content for the website.
I hold a Diploma in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from the Pontificia Bolivariana University, which I obtained in February 2022. Additionally, I received a Diploma in Strategies for Guiding Formation Processes in Virtual Environments from SENA in 2011. I also earned a Bachelor's Degree in Modern Languages (emphasis on Spanish, English, and French) from the University of Caldas from 2004 to 2010.
I possess a range of skills that have been crucial to my success as a language teacher, including problem-solving, creativity, effective communication, empathy, critical thinking, the use of technological tools, teamwork, reading comprehension, customer service, and conflict management. As a teacher, I am committed to providing the best possible learning experience for my students, tailored to their individual needs and learning styles.
Overall, my experience, education, and skills make me a qualified and dedicated language teacher who is passionate about helping students learn and achieve their language goals.
