Cambridge Graduate who specialises in AQA A Level Psychology

Hi, I’m Sherry, a recent graduate at the University of Cambridge who studied Psychological and Behavioural Sciences. I am currently a masters in Clinical Mental Health Sciences at UCL.

I have extensive knowledge of the AQA A level psychology curriculum and exam board, as I have been an online tutor for over a year and achieving an A* myself for my A Levels. I also have experience marking past paper practice papers and providing detailed feedback on how they should answer each question to achieve the best mark possible. My teaching approach usually incorporates ensuring that the student understands the relevant content first, before tackling many past paper questions. I aim to help students by going over content and clarifying and misconceptions and misunderstandings, and then practise exam questions and essay planning. To do this, I split up topics into smaller sections and teach in a fun and engaging manner to ensure that the student clearly understands the content whilst creating a warm learning environment. I also have a flexible approach to match the needs to very student.
