Experienced Private Tutor and Cambridge graduate

I have over 100 hours of private tutoring experience across the subjects of English Literature (to university level) and History (to A Level). I have also taught university courses at the University of Bristol and elsewhere.

I am particularly experienced in working with students who might not naturally be drawn towards the humanities or essay subjects and working to find ways for them to connect with the subject and, ideally, go up a grade boundary or multiple grade boundaries. I also, however, really enjoy working with GCSE, A level or university students who love the subjects but need a little bit of support to go the extra mile.

I hold a first-class degree in English Literature from Oxford Brookes University, an MPhil in Medieval and Renaissance Literature from St Edmund’s College, Cambridge and am currently completing a PhD in Medieval Literature at the University of Bristol and Macquarie University, Sydney.
