With a masters’ degree in psychology and neuroscience of music in the Music, Mind and Brain programme at Goldsmiths, University of London, I am currently a doctoral student in psychology at the same institution. Music psychology researcher and teacher with a passionate belief that education based on science, love and tolerance is the gist for building a better world. I have keen interest in observation and evaluation of how music relates to motor, language and cognitive development in children at nursery, preschool and elementary school ages, and I have carried out several empirical research, and written empirical and review articles on learning disabilities and the neuroscience of music.

With a masters’ degree in psychology and neuroscience of music in the Music, Mind and Brain programme at Goldsmiths, University of London, I am currently a doctoral student in psychology at the same institution. I have keen interest in observation and evaluation of how music relates to motor, language and cognitive development in children at nursery, preschool and elementary school ages, and I have carried out several empirical research, and written empirical and review articles on learning disabilities and the neuroscience of music, including an international research collaboration with Dr. Nadine Gaab, principal investigator of the GaabLab (Laboratory for Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience) at Harvard. I also have published the first book about RTI (Response to Intervention) in Brazil which resulted from my master’s dissertation. I use slides, videos to illustrate taught contents.
