Advert description
I am currently in the third year of my International Relations degree at the University of Edinburgh and am interesting in tutoring part-time alongside my studies. I have tutored for over 4 years, so I have a lot of experience working with primary school students- focused on English and Maths, but I am open to tutoring people of all ages and proficiencies.
Although I am a native English speaker (from the South-East of England), I have always loved learning languages, and have studies a wide variety (German, Latin, French and Italian) over my second school years. I have a B2 proficiency level of German and received an A* at A-level, and completed my Italian GCSE (A2) alongside my A levels. I therefore believe I am well experienced in how best to approach language learning, and the best methods to improve your language skills. This will be tailored to how you best learn: be that more free-flowing conversations to practise speaking skills, to specific grammar lessons or reading, writing and listening exercises.
I am currently studying in Berlin for a year abroad, so my classes would take place online. As a tutor during the pandemic, I already have experience in giving online classes, and believe this can be equally as effective as in-person tutoring. I am patient, reliable, hard-working, and motivating to work towards your goals.
