I offer affordable, person-centred lessons to meet the student's individual needs

I am a dedicated and passionate educator with a strong commitment to promoting inclusion and equity for all students. Throughout my educational journey, I have gained valuable experience in working with diverse populations, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). My approach to teaching is centered around a strength-based approach, empowering students and families to reach their full potential. In my current role, I have had the opportunity to specialize in teaching English as an additional language (ESOL), which has further enriched my understanding of language acquisition and cultural sensitivity in the classroom.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with students with various special educational needs. This experience has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of the unique challenges these students face and the strategies required to provide an inclusive and equitable learning environment.

As a special education teacher, I have been actively involved in developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs). These plans provide targeted support and accommodations to meet the unique needs of each student. By working closely with parents, teachers, and other professionals, I have been able to create individualized learning experiences that enable students to thrive academically and socially.

In recognition of each student's unique needs, I adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet those needs.
