MATHS A LEVEL RESCUE - Is A Level Maths turning into a bit of a nightmare? It doesn't have to be that way

I am an experienced secondary school Maths Teacher and I specialise in rescuing students from a difficult start to A Level maths.

I have been a Maths teacher for 10 years and have seen time and time again how easy it is for confidence to be knocked in the jump from GCSE to A Level and I'm passionate about showing students the way out of this. I don't want to see students dropping A Level Maths unnecessarily before they've been given a real chance to make it work.

I am a supportive and welcoming teacher with a very CLEAR teaching style. A Level Maths is often jargon-heavy which makes things seem more complicated than they actually are. You won't find any of that in my lessons.

MY LESSONS:

Firstly, we will ensure your mindset is in the right place and you feel comfortable and confident to be yourself and ask the questions you need to ask. If you're not confident and comfortable, you just won't learn.

Secondly, I have a strict BACK TO BASICS approach - we work from the ground up and make sure the foundation is solid. There is no point jumping to the hardest exam questions before the foundation is there. Once the foundation is secure, jumping up to the harder stuff is so much smoother and easier.

Don't delay - the earlier you can secure the foundation, the happier and more successful you will be in your A Level.
