I would describe myself as a good listener, and like to think my lessons are aimed at students who are perhaps less confident, or feel they haven't been taught the right way. I aim to be understanding, engaging and supportive.

I have previously provided private face-to-face tutoring sessions for GCSE Maths and English, and focused each session on a few different areas of a subject that the student was struggling with/needed more confidence with. If a student is able to highlight a few areas in which they need help before the session (or during sometimes), then I plan the session to help cement understanding of these areas. I place large emphasis on mistakes being learning tools, so they are more than welcome during lessons.
