Advert description
As a dedicated,
motivated law student/trainee lawyer with professional proficiency in English and Arabic, I believe that my diverse work experience, academic achievements and skills make me an excellent fit for this role.
As a main responsibility of my trainee lawyer role at KWLF, I regularly draft –
from scratch – the necessary contracts, agreements, offers, and PoAs. Further, and after an extensive review of the main agreement, I worked and assisted in the preliminary stages of issuing three international arbitration cases in London, and likewise in a high-value claim exceeding $450,000,000 before the High Court of Justice in London against a government-owned Yemeni company.
As part of my student internship at SASLO, I worked and assisted in a case before the administrative court in Oman representing a large Saudi company against the Omani Ministry of Housing. This claim also included a breach of the arbitration agreement and the claim exceeded $120,000,000. Further, I also updated and
drafted various contracts and memoranda of association. Finally, I took over the whole work of two litigation cases where I drafted the full memorandum submitted
to the court.
My skills include working, drafting, document reviewing, proofreading, and legal researching in both Arabic and English. I have high attention to detail and strong presentation and negotiation skills. I have experience in both civil and common law jurisdictions (common law includes numerous correspondences with English
Barristers and Solicitors). My areas of experience include maritime and contract law.
