Science tutor with specialisation in Chemistry (ages 11 to 19)

I am a fully qualified teacher with approximately 2 and a half years of experience in total. I have taught a wide range of material from key stage 3 to level 2 qualifications (ages 11 to 19). Furthermore, I have taught multiple exam board specifications including WJEC, AQA, OCR for GCSE, and OCR A and AQA for A level Chemistry.

I also have attained a Master's in Chemistry and am currently in the final stages of completing a PhD. While doing this, I continued with teaching in the form of demonstrating, tutoring, and marking papers for undergraduates. I understand my subject in both breadth and depth, and have the necessary skills to communicate complex ideas - breaking them down in to simple steps and simple language to most effectively educate students.

I would be a vital member of your team as I have the skills and experience to continuously teach, assess, progress, and re-assess teaching strategies, directions, and outcomes. I understand that an effective lesson is only achieved through effective planning and effective retrospective evaluation, with the aims to deliver material in the perfect way for the student in front of us, as every student is different.
