Kam has been within the educational sector for over ten years, and has mentored students of all ages and abilities.
Her qualifications are within English and ESOL- recently listed as an education agent by Trinity College London.
She has also supported the ESOL department within further education. Kam was responsible for supporting students' during their studies; providing academic support, assisting with writing UCAS and job applications, tracking learners’ progression, and assisting teachers with the delivery of class sessions and Enrichment activities. Assessed international qualifications, English language, immigration and determining fee status of applicants.
Assisted students in assessing their values, interests, abilities, skills and related these to opportunities for employment, further study and training. Kam widened access to advice on options available to post 16, for example, apprenticeships, entrepreneurialism, or other vocational routes alongside the more traditional A Levels and University route.
The range of activities that inspired students were; including employer talks, careers fairs, motivational speeches, colleges and university visits and liaising with coaches and mentors.
She enjoys working with students' globally, and encouraging the best work they can possibly offer. Kam loves a positive outcome and will ensure to go the extra mile, so that students' goals and future aspirations are strategically achieved.
