I am a serving Police Chief Inspector with 26 Years experience. I have an undergraduate Degree in Criminology and Psychology and a post Graduate Masters in Forensic Psychology. I am currently studying Part time to be a teacher (PGCE) in the Post compulsory education sector at the University of South Wales where I graduate in July 2024. I have many skills and attributes which have been obtained through the policing vocation. Example of the skills and experiences relates to Firearms which I have been an Authorised Firearms Officer, Traffic officer and tactical firearms ~commander. I am a Senior Investigating Officer for road death cases and have attended extended Civil contingencies and emergency planning qualifications along with Advanced driver experiences and pursuit management skills. I am currently involved in a Policing project merging command an control systems fr two forces in Wales. I have the ability to teach criminal Law and can support any learners with policing studies as I have had teaching Placements within Cardiff and Vale college and The learning and development department within my relevant force.
