Hi all! I am currently applying for PGCE courses and am looking to do some maths tutoring in the meantime. I am focusing primarily on Secondary School and A-Level/college students, but am open to other tutoring opportunities.

While studying mathematics at the University of Bristol, I had a teaching placement at Clifton High School, where I worked with a wide range of ages and mathematical proficiency. I also tutored GCSE students while studying for my A-Levels and am an active rugby referee and coach, so I have regular and active experience working with children. Mathematics can be a subject that is difficult to understand, so I communicate openly and empathically, and build up skills and techniques from fundamentals - to be able to be proficient in calculus, you need good algebra and numeracy skills after all!
