Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting Teacher

I’m Ms. Than Nwe Aung from Myanmar. It was also known as Burma. I graduated Bachelor of Commerce from Institute of Economics , Yangon (Myanmar) in 1993.
After I finished my university study, I was back to my town and I opened a book rental shop. I did the sweater knitting by hand and I also worked as a study guide. I wasn’t satisfied with my life and I wanted to get an international qualification to change my career and to improve my living.

At that time, I only wanted to get the Diploma in Accounting which was awarded by London Chamber of Commerce and w, it is known as Pearson er I got that diploma,my teacher told me that he wanted me to take over his classes which was already a successful LCCI Accounting Classes at my home town . I was so surprised because I did not expect that. He handed over me his classes in June 2003. Then my life has been totally changed.I become an Accounting Teacher with my own classes.I can say that it was the turning point for me. Then my center was awarded as Outstanding Center and LCCI Fellowship in 2012.

In my class, students are of various levels of ages and some have different types of jobs. My teaching objective for the students is not only for them to pass the exam but also for them to be able to solve real problems in their daily lives when they are at their works. Sometimes employers come to me when they want accountants for their businesses and I help.My old students often come to me and tell their experiences and problems at their works.I must say that this is the invaluable reward for a teacher, especially for a disabled person like me.

I am a wheelchair user because my both legs were effected by polio when I was young.I contact to PWDs group and doing as volunteer too.I also give free of charges to some trainees who have difficulties fees at my class.

Now my accounting classes are closed when Covid began and I have change to online class. We faced so many difficulties both students and me. After that we used to online teaching not many students. But I have chance to deliver the trainees who are from other cities by changing online teaching. I am also deliver IGCSE Accounting as private teacher now.

Finally I believe that some challenges force to go forward fastly and to get motivation.
I would like to share my experiences and knowledge to international students and also want to motivate them.
