I'm a language nerd and love almost all aspects of language (except phonetics. Ergh). I have a comprehensive grasp of English grammar (as well as Welsh, Spanish, German and French). I have always taught adults and would like to continue doing so.

I have taught one-to-one private lessons and also university-level classes (at Cologne International School of Design). My teaching there was very focused on English for Design, so I wrote my own course, concentrating each week on a different aspect of design (design for transport, bad design, design for disability, etc.) but I also taught a more grammar-based course for those students who weren't so confident with their English. The content of this course was based on feedback from the students, based on particular 'sticking points' ('that / which', 'less / fewer', continuous vs. progressive tenses, etc.) that they wanted me to cover. I Argentina, in addition to holding conversation classes, I also used the 'Headway' graded language courses.
