Advert description
In response to your question about my skills and experience, I have seven years of professional experience as a qualified legal advisor, specialising in teaching data protection law to adults. I have taught classes aimed at professional examinations, adhering to specific syllabuses. This background uniquely prepares me for tutoring students at various academic levels, from GCSE to postgraduate.
My teaching approach is thorough and tailored to individual needs. The first lesson involves a detailed discussion to understand the student's requirements, followed by the preparation of a comprehensive lesson plan. This plan outlines the appropriate number of lessons leading up to exams and the content for each session, scheduled according to a realistic timeline that accommodates ample revision time. I also provide a structured revision plan for my clients.
To ensure steady progress, each lesson starts with a 10-15 minute recap of the previous session. I assess understanding through oral questioning or by assigning brief written questions to be completed either within 24 hours before the next lesson or during the first segment of our session. Homework is optional and aligned with the client's preference.
As for the mode of instruction, my lessons are primarily conducted via distance learning through video calls. In-person lessons are available by special arrangement, accompanied by a supplementary fee, in Hertfordshire and London.
I am deeply committed to the success of each student and offer a bespoke teaching experience to meet individual learning objectives.
