Maths tutor offering lessons to students from KS2 to 5

I am a highly experienced tutor who specialises in Maths and 11+ entrance exams. I have a strong academic background with a BEng in Computer Science from the Imperial College London. I teach a wide range of subjects, from general 11+ preparation through to A-Level Maths. I have worked as a part-time tutor for over 10 years and have been a full time teacher of Secondary Mathematics for the last 4 years. I also volunteered as a Maths tutor at Bay Tree Centre Brixton, working with students who had recently immigrated to the country, and as a Maths tutor to a group of students in Year 6 to help them with their 11+ entrance exams.

I am passionate about building a good rapport with my students and helping them to build confidence in their own abilities, as these are key components to maximising success. I believe that tutoring can make all the difference for a student’s success, as sessions are tailored to the individual’s needs.

Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with a wide range of student abilities, including those with SEN needs. I have an excellent track record of helping her students successfully prepare for entrance exams into independent schools and for taking GCSE Maths exams, as well as those retaking their GCSEs.
