I would like to know more about teaching entrance exams and functional skills maths

I enjoy helping students gain confidence in their maths skills. The best part of teaching is when a student says "Oooo" and has a lightbulb moment where the maths clicks for them and it all becomes clear! I have been teaching online for 6 months and use a variety of methods tailored to the individual child. I predominantly use White Rose maths at KS3 and Corbett Maths or Maths Genie at KS4. Example pairs help scaffold learning and I assess understanding and address common misconceptions using Eedi quizzes.
