As a tutor, my primary goal is to help you develop your French skills in an interactive and enjoyable way. I tailor my lessons to meet your specific needs, whether you're a beginner looking to learn the basics or an advanced learner seeking to refine your language proficiency.

My teaching methodology revolves around communication. I firmly believe in the importance of regular oral practice, using real-life situations and current topics to make learning authentic. I encourage you to start expressing yourself in French from day one, as I believe that practice is essential for acquiring fluency and self-confidence.

To ensure that every lesson runs smoothly and the student feels happy I will usually begin each lesson with a small conversation to allow the student to feel more comfortable and at ease. I will ask basic questions such as how was your day, what did you get up to… to get the student to come out of their shell a little.
I generally focus on listening and reading comprehension as well as improving writing and speaking skills.
I usually begin a lesson with a formal teaching style to properly introduce and explain the topic of that day’s lesson. I then proceed using fun interactive exercises to put into use the knowledge learnt in that lesson. Exercices may include reading short stories and responding to questions, listening to audio clips or short videos. Vocabulary and grammar exercises are also frequently used.
I use a combination of PowerPoint and online exercice resources as a combination for the lesson
I modify my lessons to best accommodate for each of my students.
