I teach Maths and Physics to kids ages 13-18, and have around a year of experience in tutoring. I have a degree in Engineering Mathematics and am Bristol based. I love working with people 1 on 1 to fully understand their learning needs.

I have strong mathematical expertise, patience and great communication skills as a tutor. Maths is a difficult subject to grasp, and many people I have tutored in the past have had different levels of academic ability. My tutoring experience involves guiding students to fully understand concepts. I usually find small steps, repetition, and questions that test understanding help students gain confidence with topics. Once someone is fully confident with basic concept, I then enjoy creating a positive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and challenges students to develop their understanding further. I like to monitor the progress of lessons and have a set structure of how I introduce the lesson and end. I am committed to keeping track of progress and asking students to reflect and ask me questions.
