Qualified Science Teacher with SEND expertise

I have a 2:1 in Genetics (BSc) from Cardiff University; a PGCE from The University of Worcester; QTS and an active enhanced DBS certificate.

I taught in an outstanding academy for 3 years then moved to online (2 years via Google Meet) teaching after enjoying working remotely during lockdowns. I am trained in SEND and SEMH with many of my tutees having multiple needs.

Each session is uniquely tailored to the students needs with KS3 session involving active recall practice and quizzes. GCSE sessions focus more on developing students confidence applying their knowledge to past paper questions for their specific exam board. I use simulations and games where possible to support engagement and constructive feedback is provided throughout to maximise performance.
