Oxford university graduate teaching A-Level Biology and GCSE science and mathematics

Hi, I'm Eleanor! I am a master's student at the University of Oxford, studying Clinical Embryology, and I recently graduated from Imperial College London with a first-class honours degree in Medical Biosciences. I am passionate about scientific research and absolutely love studying, and I love sharing that with my students.

I have tutored for over a year now, and having been through this process somewhat recently, I understand the pressures and stress that exams can cause and want to encourage students and boost their confidence so that studying is something they enjoy! I tailor each lesson to the student to work to their strengths and learning style, ensuring lessons are fun as well as focused, to work smarter, not harder. I focus on developing a deep understanding of concepts, alongside working on exam techniques using strategies that I found were most effective for revision to help push the student to achieve top grades. By doing this, I have a track record of helping students achieve A and A* in their exams, particularly important given the rise in grades for University entry requirements.
