Native Spanish Tutor with A* in both A-Level and GCSE

Hola!

My name is Sara and I highly fluent in speaking Spanish. As a native Spanish speaker who lived in Spain for 15 years, I have a deep understanding of the language. Additionally, having achieved the highest grade (9) in GCSEs and A* in Spanish, I have demonstrated academic proficiency in the language. My four years of living in the UK have also allowed me to understand the challenges that English speakers face when learning Spanish, enabling me to tailor my teaching approach to their needs. My experience in freelancing subtitling, where I have translated from English to Spanish, has improved my skills in written and spoken communication, ensuring that I can effectively portray the language's complexities to students.

In addition to my academic achievements, I have tutored a few of my non-Spanish-speaking classmates and helped them improve their grammar and pronunciation. Through my tutoring, I have developed a patient and empathetic approach that focuses on the individual needs and learning methods of each student. I understand the challenges that non-native speakers face when learning a new language, and I am aware on how to tailor my lessons to address those challenges.

To teach Spanish, I will use a a wide range of teaching methods, including interactive tasks, real-life conversations, and multimedia resources, to ensure that my students learn effectively and enjoy their time learning this beautiful language. I will also provide regular feedback and guidance to help my students track their progress and identify areas for improvement. With my experience, skills, and passion for teaching, I believe I am the best teacher to help students achieve their language goals and gain a deeper appreciation for the rich culture and heritage of the Spanish-speaking world.
