I tutor Economics and Math at GCSE and A Level, and Math at lower years

Advert description
As a former sixth-form student who graduated with A*s in A Level Math and Economics, I wouldn't give credit for these grades to my own teachers. I found the content interesting, but not the way it was explained to me. I find it crucial for a teacher to make sure that their methods fully engage their students, and fit their preferences. It also doesn't hurt to get creative as a teacher. Being a private tutor gives me a range of ways to fulfil these objectives.

I have been a tutor for economics and math in the past, mainly for A Level and GCSE. However, my style of teaching has mostly been crafted through observing my own teachers, and learning from their mistakes. My lessons will provide students with not only the necessary simplicity, but also with an extent of captivation. There will be a balance between intense learning and steady processing of difficult information. My goal is to help students find their preferred rhythm in reaching their potential for their subject.

In detail, lessons will include a pedagogical part, where a certain topic is explained, a practical part, and other helpful learning activities such as games, quizzes, or tests. However, the general dynamic of the lessons can not be limited to just a few points, as I believe each student has different needs, and so each lesson will be different.

Lastly, as a current Economics student at the University of Bristol, I have the ability to transfer the high-quality teaching skills provided to me unto my students.
