Experienced fully qualified geography teacher offering homeschooling lessons and GCSE & A-Level tutoring

I am a fully qualified teacher (Teach First trained) with six years experience in UK secondary schools including holding the position of Head of Geography and being trained as an AQA examiner. I am engaging and dynamic in my teaching, believing students learn best when they enjoy the learning experience.

My excellent subject knowledge and in depth understanding of the examination process will prepare your child with the skill set required to maximise their potential and succeed at GCSE and A level Geography. Available for weekly, fortnightly and adhoc sessions.

I also offer excellent national curriculum-linked geography lessons for home-schooled students. I take a holistic approach to the geography curriculum that teaches my students around a few key concepts of sustainability, place, scale and change over time. All of our lessons are linked to the national curriculum but framed in a way to encourage students to love learning. Our lessons always have a question to solve for example, 'Why do rivers bend?' or 'Where does our food come from?' By learning in this way, my students learn critical thinking, a key skill!
