Advert description
About me:
My name is Charlie and I am an enthusiastic biology student, currently in my second year of a BSc in Biological Sciences at the University of Bristol. I love everything about the natural world and am particularly interested in conservational biology.
Previous grades:
At school I completed the International Baccalaureate, achieving a score of 43/45 and being awarded the best-performing student in HL Biology, HL Psychology and SL English, and the Doris Selby Scholarship Award for Biology.
Experience:
I have experience from a tutoring programme run at my school where I was both a tutor and a tutee. From this, I understand the approach required to make teaching as well as learning biology engaging, fun and informative!
As well as tutoring, I have developed key communication skills from volunteering as a tour guide at the Botanic Gardens, working as a server and training in the Australian Army Cadets.
Why choose me?:
I feel confident tutoring primary to secondary school biology students and can cater to different exam programmes and courses. I want to share my passion for biology, whilst offering a supporting and encouraging environment to learn in. Also, I offer free taster lessons, so just send me a message!
