My skills lie in intuitive and expressive painting for the soul and to freely and creatively paint what we feel or something in front of us. I will take you on a personal process of how to approach the subject matter you wish to depict or what feelings you are connecting with through colour, line shape, texture, impact.
My skills lie in connecting to our senses as we paint and also to hand eye coordination, how to hold the brush, how to sit/ stand. How to depict and focus on a certain area of the image you’re trying to create.
I am open to helping people create their visions with paint and or seeing what is needed with each individual. Perhaps it’s to bring a still life object to life with paint or it’s to being an internal emotional landscape to life with paint. Whatever it is, I can tune in with the pupil.
I have very much of my own painting practice experience, studying at art foundation then to go onto my own creative self lead art practice. Painting and drawing have been one of my ways of expressing myself throughout my life since I was a child.
I recently got a job painting a forest landscape in the side of a caravan, and have in the past done other murals creating natural environmental scenes.
In my a levels I focused on painting portraits and buildings, so have a wide range of different focus areas. Currently I am trying to hone in on how to depict English landscapes in a way that feels authentic and true to me on a large scale.
