Computer Science Tutor with 20 years programming experience and 14 years teaching experience of Key Stage 3, GCSE & A Level Comput

I have a 2:1 Honours degree in Computer Science and a PGCE in IT. Following a career in the computer industry working as a Software Engineer, manager and company director I developed a desire to share my knowledge of the computer industry and I became a teacher. In addition to teaching in schools at Key Stage 3, GCSE and A Level I have delivered commercial courses to adults of all ages. I have a sound knowledge of computing theory, using various exercises to help students develop their knowledge and understanding of the subject. I have a long background of supporting students through practical tasks and my commercial experience allows me to furnish students with practical advice that goes beyond a purely academic understanding of the software development process.
