With fifteen years of experience producing music, I offer tailored lessons in Logic Pro X, Ableton, and DJing for all ages and skill levels.
My lessons cover everything from composition to recording, sampling, remixing, mixing, and mastering tracks. I can teach various writing styles, tips and tricks for using effects, and how to promote your music. My lessons will equip you with all the necessary skills to start your musical journey or improve upon your existing knowledge.
I graduated from Leeds College of Music with First Class Honours in Music Production (BA) and have since set up my own record company, releasing over fifty records from a variety of different artists around the world. I've also released my own music under the name K-LONE on labels such as Young Turks (Jamie XX, FKA Twigs), R&S (James Blake), and LuckyMe (Machinedrum).
I’ve had over 5 million plays on Spotify, and my debut album was listed in Bleep's Top 10 Albums of 2020. I've just finished my second album, which features the UK No.1 singer Eliza Rose. I performed at last year’s Glastonbury and have toured in Japan, Australia, America, Canada, and all over Europe. I've had music used in adverts for Burberry, Shure, and Apple and produced music for Universal's production library.
I teach from my home studio, where students will have access to various professional equipment, hardware, DJ decks and instruments. I'm also happy to travel and can drive from Brighton to you or hold lessons online. I have an up-to-date DBS check.
