Extra English Language and Literature tuition for GCSE students

I achieved an A grade in both my A-level English Literature and my GCSEs in Literature and Language. Currently, I am in my second year of an English Literature degree, while also pursuing a TESOL (Teaching English as a Second Language) certification. I am halfway through the TESOL course and have taught around six lessons, gaining a solid understanding of both the theoretical and practical aspects of teaching.
I sat the AQA exam board for both my GCSEs and A-levels, giving me a firm grasp of the literature commonly selected by these boards, as well as the critical and theoretical aspects of exam writing. Additionally, my degree studies have made me well-versed in the literature commonly chosen by other exam boards.
I am adept at creating tailored lesson plans to meet the individual needs of students, including specific texts they are studying and the writing skills they need to develop. My lessons aim to foster a deep understanding of texts and encourage students to form and support their unique opinions, as exam boards appreciate original and unique perspectives.
I am based in the Brighton area and can travel to you for in-person lessons or teach online.
