I am qualified teacher of almost 4 years with experience of teaching one-to-one or in large classes.
I develop comprehensive lesson plans in accordance with curriculum guidelines, ensuring a well-rounded understanding of historical concepts and events.
I use various teaching methods and resources, including hinge questioning, cold calling and scaffolding, to create engaging and interactive classroom experiences.
I also like to facilitate discussions and debates to encourage critical thinking and analysis of historical events and their impact on society.
I assess student progress through a variety of evaluation methods, including formative questioning and summative tests as well as projects and presentations.
I provide individualised support and guidance to students, identifying and addressing their unique learning needs and challenges. For example, applying the ‘I do, We Do, You do’ for written tasks and scaffolding for low attaining students or children with SEND.
