Advert description
Am an accountant by proffession but because of scarcity of jobs in kenya I ventured into teaching which I either do part-time depending with the type of work. One thing with me is, am patient with my students since i know when it comes to maths then many always shy off , but on the otrher hand AM RESULT ORIENRED..to mean at times i become alittle bit tough with an aim of a good results.
I have a testimony of my maths student (EDWIN) who had a negative attitude towards Maths thats way back in 2012. One thing I did was TESTING HIM ON WHAT HE KNEW IN MATHS and through that with time he begun developing interest . So per every topic we used to cover i was testing him and if it happens he failed then we used to do revision then retest him on the very subject.
This motivated him more and the first exam they did at school he improved but as time was going by he even perfomed better and through that i started registering more students both lower primary who were many and upper primary. Eventualy Edwin passed in the national examination with 301/500 and score 68% in maths and to me and parents that was more than a distinction owing to how we first met and the time we met to start the training.
