Inspirational, fun, engaging, relaxed. This is how I would describe my approach. I want my students to feel amazing about themselves when they have left me. For many people in this world, it is easy to lose confidence and not believe in themselves. I want you to know that you are amazing. We all start somewhere. Jimmy Hendrix at one point didn't know how to play the guitar. At one point The Beatles hadn't written a song. I always say pick up the guitar for 10 minutes a day. Make it your best friend and get to know it as much as possible because you are going to use it to speak and share your emotions. Even if you only play in your room. It's your diary. Your outlet. And you need to understand, yes, get inspired, but find your own way of playing. If you don't sound like your favourite artist that's good! You are YOU! Now breathe and get being amazing!
