I'm a calm, bubbly and patient tutor My lessons would be primarily aimed at GCSE/A-Level students.

Small tasks explaining the topic with constant open questions being able to be freely asked. Helping students make their own flashcards and showing them good ways to study outside of tutoring. A basic plan of their subjects can be made after inital contact with the student and we can work from there, i will have material to work through with them as well as past papers to work through so they can get a feel of the style of questions but with the opportunity to sit and ask about areas they do not understand. Additional support where the student feels weak in subjects would be available to be planned around with a weeks notice. I have tutored many students before in English Language, Spelling and Grammar in preparation for their 11+ exams as well as volunteering my free time in senior school to help tutor lower years on reading fluently and understanding words. This included regular worksheets, sitting with patience to give them time to understand and being open and friendly enough that the students feel comfortable to ask even the smallest of questions without feeling silly for not knowing
