I speak English as one of my native languages, alongside Welsh

I'm a current undergraduate student at the University of Bath studying a Bachelor of Science in Management with Marketing. I completed Sixth Form in 2020 (the year of Covid-19) with 2 x A*, 2 x A, and 1 x B Grade. At GCSE I received 3x A* and 9 x A Grades. As well as my native languages, I am currently learning to speak basic German and hope to become conversationally fluent in the near future. As an English tutor, I am passionate about helping non-fluent speakers to understand English spelling patterns (which is understandably difficult to some learners), grammar & punctuation, and sentence structuring. Therefore, lessons would likely be based around these three focal points, whilst ensuring that it relates to the individual's interests and learning objectives to maintain high engagement. I also believe that learning a little about English-speaking culture helps students to become more flexible and to develop a broader understanding of the language at hand - for example, why native English speakers may say certain phrase in a particular way during a certain situation.
