I have known Mrs Thacker for 15 years and over that time she has taught all three of my children and has been a much respected work colleague and friend. Under Mrs Thacker's watchful eye, my children thrived academically and emotionally, growing into successful and happy young learners. As a fellow teacher, Mrs Thacker has always proved to be a collaborative and supportive colleague, ready to step in and help whenever needed. Her commitment to the pupils in her class, the school and her colleagues has always been unwavering and she is very much missed. I wish Mrs Thacker every success in her future teaching.

Mrs Thacker loved to get to know her students. She would go around the class and differentiate each student's learning to suit them and make sure they understood the work. If they didn't, Miss would stick with them until she'd explained well enough for them to finally get it and continue on with the work independently. Mrs Thacker was also a kind and approachable teacher and really easy to talk to- she liked to laugh and definitely assured everyone was comfortable in class.

She is a kind, caring and an excellent teacher that helped me improve not just academically but as a person as well.
