I am a very bubbly and enthusiastic individual who is currently doing her PGCE in secondary education (chemistry specialism)

I believe teaching should be engaging and Interactive as that is how I think students retain knowledge best. I hope to encourage students to become passionate about science so that studying becomes more enjoyable. I also understand the important of knowledge consolidation so knowledge retrieval through quizzes and exam style questions are also teaching techniques I adhere most to. Additionally, I believe as a teacher my job entails providing students with necessary skills which are beneficial in their personal development. This includes oracy lessons, through collaborative learning, and individual tasks to encourage independence.
