A university maths student keen to promote people's understanding of my subject and boost results in GCSE and A-Level maths.

I am currently enrolled on a world-class mathematics degree programme at the University of Warwick, where I am constantly challenged to improve in my subject, equipping me with a strong skillset for teaching. In GCSEs and A-Levels I received exceptional results in a variety of subjects, particularly excelling in maths and science. I have some experience tutoring already at this level, from which I have had only positive feedback. I believe that the focus with learning should be on building a deeper understanding of the relevant concepts, so my goal will be to teach ideas in the way most intuitive to the tutee. I am patient, empathetic and a good listener which are all invaluable traits for a teacher to have. I hope to use all this to deepen people’s understanding of aspects of maths they struggle with and improve their problem-solving abilities.
