For the last two years, I have been teaching English as a second language at community centre. When I first started the position, we had small class sizes. As my role continued, my classes grew. Now, I teach 20 -25 students per class period. In each of these classes, I work with students with beginning to advanced skills in English. One of the many skills that make me qualified for this position is my ability to speak 3 different languages. I can help students by teaching in their languages, helping them understand the words they need and want in English. This skill means I can teach students with diverse backgrounds.
