I am a qualified mathematics teacher with extensive teaching experience in Pakistan, Australia and the United Kingdom. I have worked with students ranging from Grade 6 to year 12 with diverse abilities – including special abilities students such as students with autism, behaviour problems and Asperger’s syndrome. I am passionate about teaching to make changes in the lives of students under my care. Owing to my extensive qualifications, I am also passionate about conducting research into the teaching and learning practices of schools – especially using action research and grounded theory to benefit schools and improve standards. My personal philosophy regarding teaching is that teaching and learning should be for the holistic development for the student. Therefore, I am also an avid supporter of after-school activities, Mathematics clubs and extra curricula activities. As I have completed my educational qualifications, I am now in search of a permanent posting as a full-time Mathematics teacher.
