Friendly English Tutor with 2 Years Experience

Hi everyone,

My name is Kiera, and I am a student who has completed A-Levels in English Literature, Maths and Biology. I have two years of experience in tutoring English, Maths and Science, working with Primary School pupils, all the way through to KS4 (GCSE). My teaching style is based on my extensive reading of the specification, which has allowed me to create tailored resources to help you, as a pupil, understand exactly what is expected of your knowledge, and how to apply this to exam questions in order to maximise your marks.

As a tutor, I believe that all students should be able to achieve the grades that they deserve, and have the confidence to believe in themselves. This passion has prompted me to create resources that cover every point on the Specification released by the Exam Board and work through these with the students to ensure that they are comfortable with every type of question they could be asked. The lesson format targets the key skills and points that you, as a pupil, are required to know from the specification. I have created lesson streams that take you through all the key content, exam practice and application skills, in order to allow you to progress in your studies, maximising your grade. My approach is based on your individual needs and expectations of what you want to achieve from your tutoring sessions and is also focused on you as a learner, and how you prefer to study.
