When one is well versed with the content of a certain theme or topic, they can easily apply that content to any question of any kind in line with that chapter or theme. The first thing is to help the student understand the concept then there after move to simple examples to familiarise the student with the work. When these have been mastered, we can move to more challenging examples and miscellaneous problems. I am a very patient person and this comes in handy when the student has a hard time grasping something and we have to repeat it over and over again. Absolutely nothing wrong with that.
