I possess the skills necessary to effectively teach and guide students preparing for their SATs. I have effective digital skills which will enable me to create and present PowerPoint slides relevant to the lesson. I also have good communication so I will be able to interact and understand my students effectively. I also am very organised which ensures that I will provide the correct resources to my pupils. Moreover, I like to think outside of the box. For instance, I will think of strategies to meet my students’ needs and always promote their wellbeing.
I have tutored an individual in person before with her English SATs. She wasn’t confident in the subject and her teacher was worried about her progress. I would provide her with textbooks, mock papers, and explain the topics that she didn’t understand. After a couple of weeks, she became more confident and was making progress in school. She passed her English SATs by the end of the year.
