APPLICATION AS AN ONLINE ENGLISH LANGUAGE TUTOR

My name is Ebenezer Turkson. I have a degree in Bachelor of Arts and majored in English and Linguistics with an excellent Second Class. Throughout my undergraduate studies, I conducted tutorials for fresh students who were not good at English language and Communicative skills. I made teaching very practical which helped students to understand things I taught them very well thereby facilitating them to obtain good grades.

I then again challenge my students to get better grades and those who performed well will be rewarded. This strategy gave my student some zeal hence them achieving good grades in the English language.

During my first year at the University, I had the opportunity to teach primary and junior high school children and what I did was that I tried as much as possible to assign assignments to my students and keep them on their toes. This helped them to acquire and appreciate the English language well.

During the Covid outbreak, I had to move our meeting online. We made use of digitalization. What I mean by digitalization is that I taught my students through Zoom, WhatsApp and Google Meetings so that we could achieve our task.

Students were allowed to ask a question, and tolerating ideas and disciplining of students according to the education rules were not taken for granted.

I believe I am the best tutor because, I have the needed skills such as student engagement, time management, excellent communication and discipline.
