I have previously had done an internship working with children with SEND. This involved working closely and providing and individualised approach to teaching. I would teach based on each child’s need. When doing one to one with a child I will initially access the child’s needs and requirements and tailor the lesson plans towards them. There are various approaches such as more verbal or visual.
