I'm a tutor who loves teaching Maths in creative and relatable ways!

Hi I'm Harpreet - I teach Maths at KS3 and KS4 levels. I have 5 years of experience working with students of all abilities, including SEND students. I have a Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology, which means I did a significant amount of Maths in my degree. No matter where you're at with Maths, my aim is to ensure you have a very positive and motivating learning experience.

My approach is to first understand the students' needs, goals, interests, and learning styles and to incorporate these into tutoring sessions.

A typical session will last 50 minutes. I am punctual and like to ensure that my lessons are very engaging, creative and productive. For example, I may gamify the lesson to make it more exciting, as well as allow movement breaks to recharge the brain. I am very conscious of whether my students are understanding the concepts, and will patiently re-explain topics in various ways until the student grasps the content.

I am confident in teaching Maths and love challenging myself to do math calculations in my head in order to keep my brain sharp!
