L@@k Experienced Primary Level Online Tutor (Early Years, KS1 and KS2)

Look no further, as I am a tutor who specialises in tutoring students to become not only top students, but to be enthusiastic and appreciate of the subject itself. Available to tutor Early Years, KS1 and KS2. Tutoring provided online via Skype, in the comfort of your own home. My online lessons are very interactive. I continuously assess students' understanding of the topics I'm teaching through questioning and evaluating their work. At the end of each tutorial I email my notes along with homework for students to do ahead of the following lesson. This homework is reviewed at the start of the following lesson. In addition, students are able to record the online lessons and replay them during revision time. As a freelance online tutor, I have the flexibility to teach at times that suit you. This is not something that can be offered by a lot of tutors.

Highly educated with a PGCE in Primary Education with QTS from the University of Warwick, I spent the last few years teaching pupils of different abilities and needs at one of the top primary schools in Sandwell and have specialised in ensuring that students meet their full potential. As a teacher, I have been responsible for marking exam papers for classes on a regular basis. This has given me an insight into the different misconceptions that prevent students from fulfilling their potential and is something I am able to address when tutoring students. My classroom experience, together with my deep understanding of the syllabus, is something that cannot be reproduced by tutoring alone.

I also have an excellent understanding of university level law together with core subjects. On my first session, I carry out an assessment to work out the student’s/pupil’s current level, gaps and their next level. The information gathered is later used to plan my follow up sessions. I plan, teach and assess using the national curriculum.
