Latin and elementary reading and writing tutor will teach persons of all ages

I have a Master's degree in Latin and many years teaching Latin. I also have spent 9 years working with elementary students in reading and writing. I love teaching both areas. I have had students from Kindergarten through high school, but I would enjoy some adult learners!

I have been tutoring with Varsity Tutors online in both of these fields for almost 2 years.
I like tutoring online because I can have such a variety of students from all areas of the United States.

I am very patient but aggressive in making a child's learning of the uppermost importance and going over and over material for maximum results. I am not grouchy, though!!

I have two grown sons whom I taught while they were in high school! I enjoyed that.
I love to read and do jigsaw puzzles. I keep in contact with parents continually so they know what is going on !!

I am originally from Boston, MA, so love the Red Sox. We have moved around the eastern part of the United States 15 or more times. It has been interesting and has given me more breadth of knowledge of different areas of the country.
