Teaching Chinese in a logical way

I am a PhD holder in philosophy, specialising in Wittgenstein's philosophy of language. I have more than 6 years teaching experience in higher education institutes, and 10-year experience as a private Chinese tutor.

My pedagogy:
- emphasises the importance of grammar of language. Rules of grammar determine the whether a combination of words is legitimate (i.e. whether a sentence makes sense).
- emphasises the importance of linguistic context, i.e. how a sentence is actually used in a real-life context. (Students would be invited to engage in class speaking activities, not just listening).
- make students learn in a clear, concise and fun manner.
